Officially Winter in New Hampshire
The days are now getting longer, not warmer but at least getting longer. This time last year Jay Atkinson and I we working on a story for New Hampshire Magazine. One of many stories we've done together but this one is a bit different. I think it's the third one for NH Magazine but the first one under our newly minted "brand" The Explorers. It's been an interesting learning experience for all of us to develop a voice, style and method for our past and upcoming stories. Together, with Chip Allen at NH magazine we even came up with a logo to differentiate our stories from the other features in the publication.

In the latest issue Jan/Feb our Pond Hockey story hits the newstands. It was a bitter cold day for shooting pictures, the sky was pretty grey and the winds howling but we managed to have some laughs, tell a story and keep all our fingers. In the coming weeks we'll be back out with many of the same characters, a few new ones but all amped up to explore the New Hampshire's fine offering of outdoor sports and activities. We've got a long line up of stories already done and more ideas simmering in our brains for the coming months.
